Default yzf450 vs. Pred

hey guys, i just read about the yzf450 and was wondering about how it performs up against the pred... i herd it can take the pred from a friend but i doubted him. so any info on this bike comparing up to the pred would b sweet.... later

No one has any Idea yet, But being about 65LBs less and a potent motor it should be about the best power to weight of any quad made.

Yup, I'll second that, all speculation right now. There's lot's of experts bench-racing. You'd be amazed how fast a shop stool can go. Especially after the barley pop starts to flow. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I would put my money on the yzf450. It has a high compression rate and is super light weight.

I wonder if they would want to make it faster than the Raptor. Doesn't seem like they would want to do that, it would kill the Raptor sales.

i also read on sportquad.com that there is a kit to do away with the electric start and put a kick start in that drops the weight down another 30 lbs.

i wonder if there is a point where the bike could become to light and have too much power that it would be hard to control? any thoughts?

I'm sure it's light....just kinda seems like someones scales are a little optomistic. Time will tell.
