Default local price for new yzf450

this is what I got for a price on the new quad from Beaverton honda/yamaha in Oregon

MSRP $6,899.00
freight & setup 195.00
license & title 40.50
admin fees 50.00
total $7,184.50

I Know this could be a great quad, but 7k why not just buy a raptor with more power for almost a grand less?

Im no mxer but more of a dune and trail rider, cant wait to hear how it fares in those conditions.

later

All of this is BS. When I was looking to buy my raptor the local dealer started throwing all of these numbers around, its all a way to make a little more money. Never, Never pay over MSRP, the other fees are just a way to get your hard earned money. I now travel 2 hrs to a different dealer that does'nt try and stick it to me every time I go in to by something, I bought my 03 LE Raptor for $58000 OTD. While my local dealer threw these same numbers around and wanted around 7k. Peace!!

$5800 cash is what I paid, thats including tax. If you think that isnt a good deal you must be high.

I paid $6500 for my 03 Raptor, I wish I would have waited since the price has dropped. Anyway, those destination and assembly charges are bull, we shouldn't have to pay for that. When I bought mine I told the guy I'm not going to pay for that, he said it wasn't negotiable. I turned around and began to walk away when he called me back and said, "Okay, you don't have to pay those charges."
