I own a 02 Raptor and just curious if anybody sells a kickstarter kit for the raptor. I see they make one for the new 450, and if i could lose 30lbs like u do on it, the kickstarter would be a definate mod i would like to shift to.

 

I am intrested in this also, if anyone can help please let us know. TIA

The people who are intrested in this haven't kick on a big bore four stroke frist thing in the morning ( XR 600, Xr 650) I like having the button I don't break up a sweat at all just push it in.

Gimme a kickstart fot my Rappy! Only MEN apply...the battery is a waste...straight up!

 

Kick a CR500 in the morning and you wish you had the button. Hell switch to the new michelob ultra(low carb beer) and keep the battery.

 

I've had XR 500s, 600s and a Husaberg (kick on the left) and never thought a thing about kick starting those and with the deccompression on the rappy I don't think it would be a problem. But if it got flooded real bad you'd miss the button.

 

And here I thought my old atk 250 was the only backwards unit(left foot kick)

 

I was pretty dissapointed that the newer 400's and the YFZ450 dont have kickstarts. I never had much trouble with my 350x at all. Im already as light as i can be with out being anorexic. The huge starters and batterys have to weigh in total of 15lbs. Lot of weight on a bike you plan on racing.
