How can you check to see if the CDI on a 03 predator 90 is good? i have no spark-checked all the wiring-seems ok-fuse by batt. is ok- last week when i talked to a dealer he told me that they have replaced alot of cdi's. thanks for any help

You need power to the cdi from the stator and a pulse signal to trigger it. Check resistance of the ignition coil windings to be within spec. If all three of these test ok you need a cdi. Oh. DO make sure you disconnect the kill wire from the cdi first to be sure you eliminate that part (kill) of the circuit. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
