All the other companys have stepped up to the plate and delivered new quads over the last 18 months. All produce more power than honda 400ex. What is honda waiting on?? The predator, yz450, suzuki400 handle better than the 400ex. Honda has always been on top in my book but has not made a move since 1999 IMO. When, what or never is honda going to do anything. I can't believe they will be able to ignore the new quads much longer. The sales of the 400 ex have been dropping.

So is Honda going to step back up to the plate and play?

 

I am sure they will come out with something...just give them a little time. on the other hand, they have had lots of time......

I think we have been waiting for a new quad since 01' with the release of the DS.

 

Well im sure honda will come out with something in a few years to compete with what we have now while the other compaines are comming out with something better..........LOL, If i had a dollar for everyday that went goes by before honda comes out with something i will never have to work again.

 

I have heard so many rumors about new honda sport quads, and i dont think there is any truth behind any of it..i wish honda would let us know whats up there sleeve, people are pulling away from honda.

 

They will come out with a new quad when people quit buying the 400EX. Why anybody would buy an EX over a Z is beyond my.

 

Simple reasons for a 400ex over a Z:

1) OTD price on new 400ex is about $4,700.

2) Replacement parts for a 400ex are cheaper

3) 400ex is on its 5th year while the Z is a first year quad. Rumors are out about several 1st year weaknesses on the Z

why should they quit making the 400 EX? Everyone else has just now matched Honda with the 400's coming out.. All they need to do is make a bigger CC quad to match the V Forces, DS, and cRaptor
