Default Need a little help???

Alright I bought a MBRP slip on and installed it on my Raptor. I also bought a dynojet stage 2 kit. I followed there specs as far as there airbox mods. I'm planning on running it with the lid on for now, they recommend a 144 and a 146 at 3000 feet or less. I put in it and the thing runs awesome no dead spots or sputters nothing. Did a plug check it wasn't white but Gray like the hood on the black and white Raptors. So I think I'm close for jetting. I think I'll jump to the 146,148 set or do you think I should jump to the 148,150?? Thanks alot for any help.

Go with 146-148 You want the plug to be a copper color, not a grey or white. Let the quad idle 2 minutes then check plug... then do a run with the quad and get it full throttle through the gears then shut it off and check plug again. That will show you if it is rich/good/lean on top end and at idle, so if you need to adjust your needle you can. You ussualy don't need to adjust it for just a pipe though. just give 146-148 a shot and if it is too rich change it back... or if it is rich cut up the airbox until it is jetted correct
