Default Honda Recon Question..

Can a Recon 250 carry 2 people easily? Not for a very long distance. My friend and I are considering buying one to carry ourselves a mile or so through the woods. The recon is in the price range, and we were wondering if it would be a good choice.... any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

That little Recon will take you wherever you need to go....unless, of course you each weigh 400+ pounds. Then it might be a bit of a go.

My brother and I used to use mine to haul our butts back in the woods for hunting. No problem.

It does depend on your weight. The Recon should do just fine but the handling will be affected. I remember riding three on a Big Red when I was..... well..... younger.

Default Honda Recon Question..

Is it really going to be just a mile and what type of terrain because when you say a mile through the woods. If it was our place with the almost perfect trails the recon will make it quite easy but if you talking virgin woods like down the road you would like something bigger I would think.

Hey Chet! How ya doin? Yeah, where you are going could be an issue. The same holds true with where we ride. Most of the stuff would, and did, handle two riders....my brother (170#) and myself (110 #) quite easily. But we stayed MOSTLY on not too radical of trails. Wouldn't want to take it some of the other places we ride. If you look at my gallery, you can see that it is quite mountainous.

Dunescreaminmama,

Doing just fine and miss hearing from you and I am outside a lot this time of year getting chigger bites from riding around in the tall grass on the Recon.

If you could save up a few more bucks and like the Honda brand the Rancher would do the job better with two abroad.

Love my Recon though.
