Default 400ex a-arms onto a 300ex, how will they fit?

hey guys, if i bought a set of 400ex a-arms would they fit ok with the stock 300ex shocks, or would it make my front end sit lower with less ground clearance? also what would i gain by doin this? thanks, nathan.

you can buy a bracket that will allow you to mount 400ex shocks. saw it on e-bay.

I've done it. It is about an inch or so lower at the frame.

It is about 2inches a side 3 to 4 total HUGE difference for a $50 e-bay investment. You need the 400 tie-rods with it.

Gotta agree with WISTECH,

You will be much happier with the 400ex shocks. The 300ex shocks aren't really long enough and are not valved correctly for +2 a-arms.

It may cost a little more, but I can assure you will be happier in the long run.

It took me about 2 hours to build my own shock mounts . All you need is a mig welder and a grinder. PM me for pics.
