Default best bike for hare scramble

what is the best bike for the hare scrambles?
i have a 2003 660R Raptor. how will i fair?

I'm in the same race circuit as Bartlett and Modquad. The raptors just don't ever seem to fair well. Not sure if it's the riders or the machines!! If you run it stock, it's a bit tippy, but for a harescramble, I would only widen a raptor a total of 2-3 more inches. It does seem like the 400 EX does rather well, but I've been making my way closer to the top of the podium each time I race my Predator!! Practice makes perfect!! Just take it and enter a race...and if it's your first one, just ride to have fun...don't try to win...I learned that the hard way with a bent steering stem. managing traffic and trees at speed takes some getting used to, so enjoy the ride, see how your machine handles in the woods, and after 1 race you will have it figured out pretty quickly which mods you think you will need!!
