I have heard alot about all the different clutch co out there.... But I don't understand what makes them different????? Why would I buy a HC over a HPD or aaen's I am sure there is a reason why there are so many clutch co

also would the addition of a roller clutch help any clutch kit that I may buy

 

The heelclicker changes the primary spring and maybe the secondary spring. But it has different weights that require you to remove and modify the primary clutch. The rest of the companys are pretty much the same. The on;y difference is that they may give you different wieghts, springs, and helixes according to what they think you should run. Also their springs have different tensions.

 

I see that you have a hpd clutch kit
have you even ridden a polaris with a heelclicker in it?
if so what were the differences

 

Yes, I have an HPD and absolutely LOVE it. About the best thing you can do to a scrambler. I have never ridden a heelclicker equipted quad. The way that I have been hearing is that more people on ATVNation like these on their sprotmans . The Hpd kit seems to be a little more for aggressive riding.

Then you would probably be happier with and HPD kit. Oh, I forgot to address your other question. A roller clutch is a GREAT improvment. The best one out there is the TEAM performance unit. There are a few people on here that have the roller clutch. I would love to get one but cant afford it right now. If you get the roller clutch you dont have to the the aggressive clutch kit. You can get the regular one without the helix because you will be replacing the secondary clutch anyway

 

Oh and if you want ot go all out. Get the Comet Primary clutch. It is suppose to be 25% more efficient. That means 25% more power. This is the setup Modquad has, Comet primary and TEAM secondary. I am going to do something with the clutch
I just got off the phone with heelclicker and he was telling me that HC is coming out with a secondary clutch kit called the HC-X which should be out in 3 or 4 weeks, I don't know if I can wait this long

 

The TEAM performance secondary is already out. I don't know a whole lot about the Heel-X but I do know that the TEAM clutch has been race proven on sleds for years now and the people that run them on their ATVs absolutely love it.
