i need a new rear axel

i just got a used 97 300ex for 1100 bucks

the bike is in good shape except it needs new rear bearings and the rear axel is bent any suggestions on what and where to get the parts i need ??

any help is appreciated

Pretty sure a 400ex stock axle will fit. If it does, there are many in garages. Including mine. PM me if you are interested.

where could i get a hold of a good axel that is stronger than stock??

but if that 400 axel will fit i may just have to get it from ya

Rocky mountain has a Dura Blue for $250 or less. You can get the best one in the world , Dominator, from RPM, for about $475.

The dura blue axle comes in 2+2. But it also come swith spacer that allow you to run in stock width or extended. But go extended, for sure.
