does anyone know the step by step to changing an axel on a 97 300ex

 

1st. loosen the lock nuts on the r/s ( sitting on it) of the carrier ( use brake to stop from turning)
2nd. Loosen chain
3rd. Remover rear sproket
4th. Loosen hubs and remove
5th. Spin lock nut in to carrier until you can see the snap ring
6th. remover snap ring off r/ end of axle and lock nut with sleve
7th. Get out your convincer and a block of wood, smack axle on r/s end with wood and convincer
8th. Slide axle out of carrier
9th. Remove and inspect all bearings and regrears or replace
10th. Reverse to re install
