Rear tires for DS 650

I am getting ready to replace the factory Kenda rear tires and I am wondering what would be a good all-around tire. I don't like the Kenda, they spin too much. Also, should I go up a size to a 22".

Hey Oke... I have the Holeshot XCT's 22-11-9 rear and 23-7-10 front. They are great, almost to much traction on granite roads, good in the loomy stuff and rocks and not to bad in what little mud we get around here.

iF YOU RIDE TRAILS AND WOODS GET SOME RAZOR 2 TIRES. YOU CAN GO WITH 22 BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO CHANGE GEARING BECAUSE YOU WILL LOSE A LOT O LOWEND. HOLESHOT WORK GOOD BUT THEY DON'T LAST LONG. i HAVE HOLESHOTS AND THEY HOK UP WELL JUST DON'T LAST.

Ive got 22 in. Kenda knarlys on the rear and it amazing instead of spinnig in 1st and 2nd it lays down the power. I put 23 in. kenda claws on the front and the setup is balanced . you will get about 5 mph increase similar to a 17 tooth front sprocket and you won't feel like you run in to the rev limiter as quick. be prepared to put on stiffer clutch springs. The clutch is working alot harder when your getting traction.

No, pureintimidation...
you do not have to change your rims to accomodate 22's. Just make sure the rim size on the tire you want to buy is the same as the Kendas (i forget) and that the tire width is somewhat close (doesnt have to be a perfect match) and you should have no problems.

I'm running Holeshot XC 20" tires. I've got about 6 or 7 trips on em' and they are still in great shape. They are a softre compound tire but compared to stock baja tires (which I blew through after 2 rides) they rock. They get traction when you need it and get loooooose when you want it.
