Hey ya'll, I recently changed the oil and spark plug for the first time on my rappy. It's only about 3 months old and I changed the oil and plug after about 15 or 20 hours of riding. I was wondering what other things I should be checking for besides coolant, break fluid. Any other things I should be keeping my eye on? Thanks for any info...

 

Check your valves too.

 

check your carbs and your valves,it pretty basic but once you learn that it will be tuned nicely..

 

Hi I am wondering the same things as the original poster, and is there a place i can get detailed instructions on how to check the valves or would it be better for me to take it to the local dealership and have it done?

 

You can buy a shop maual from Yamaha that explains how to adjust the valves.
