Default Smooth grips

Just looked at '03 Warrior, and the grips were worn? smooth on top. How much riding would it take to do that? Bike looked new.

Gosh, It took mine about a year on the honda to do that! were they worn or were they made like that, if they were worn, then those Yamaha dealers have been sneaking a few rides in on it .

It took me about 6 - 8 months but, I ride the pi** out of my 300. I mean I cut it no slack but, If it is a new bike I don't know why the grips would be worn. I would probably look for a different one.
