A COUPL MONTHS AGO I READ A ARTICL IN ATV MAGAZINE, they said yamaha was building a y-twin 500cc banshee for 2004. they said it put out 90 hp stock and yamaha had accerories to make 140 hp. they said it had some kind of valve set up, a switch on handle bars for 3 different power deleverie. they also sais that it was the highest 2 stroke technology out there and it would start the 2stroke competetion all over again like honda did when thry came out with the 400ex then raptor,preadtor,z400,kfx400,kfx700,ds650,yfz450. they even had a picture of the v twin banshee. it did not look computerized either? that p***ed me off when they came out with the 450 in stead.

 

Did it happen to be in an APRIL issue of a magezine?

They have reed valves. Some have powervalves. The article probably said it had a powervalve.

 

I saw a suzuki mt everest 1400 or something also and I was like what the heck and then I remembered it was the april issue.
