I am looking for information on jetting and small fine tuning for a 02 scrambler 400x. It is really bad on gas. It is still factory set because I am cautious of leaning it out to much. The only thing that I done is put on an k+n filter with an outwear. I also want to know what you think about dial a jet and how it works for my quad. thank you!!

 

The dial-a-jet is really only real useful if you do alot of elevation changes. Make sure your brakes aren't dragging or something wedged making it get poor mileage. If you put a K&N, then your jetting should be pretty close because it is rich from the factory and the K&N leans it out a little.
