Default Jetting and mods for Dinli

Just purchased a 90 Dinli Diamondback for my son and I am interested in any info on jetting and mods.

Default Jetting and mods for Dinli

my son has a dinli t-rex 90,we threw the stock airbox in the trash and bolted on a uni clamp on filter (universal). i also put on a 2 piece dynoport exhaust and went from a 82.5 to a 85 main jet disconnected the oil injection and went to premix 40 to1 (yamalube). Ialso put in a reed cage from a polini dirt bike and i had a reed spacer made for it. (1/4 inch)we had the cyl ported and polished and a malossi hi-comp head. We have not made any clutch mods in 2 years(soon to change).Ialso put douglas alum rims all around(blue label 8 x 6 4 on 110 bolt pattern) and 16x6.5x8 snow hogs with the stock gears 16/32. This little thing flies my 10 year old is pulling wheelies. Also get rid of the plug and get a NGK B8HS and gap to spec. The pipe carb jet and clamp on filter will wake this thing up. dont forget to screw out the throttle stop. I hope this helps you in your quest to go faster.
