Default ordered 15.5 HPD billet head

i'll have the dome in some weeks,i was just wondering what the hell of difference it will make, from 12.1??? i'll run 110 av gas in it,is the race dome still reliable with such compression ratio?
if thing goes well i'll make the jug to race mods specs then, thanks for the help.

Compression is power....big difference. For all around ridding, I to mix the 100/110 low lead av gas at 40:1 Polaris blue oil. Starts on the 1st pull almost every time. I would make sure to get your cyliner outfitted with the girdle kit, and HPD also has a simple yet very effective weld on block re-inforcement plate. When you step into the race-mod arena, you're effectively almost tripling the HP, that motor needs those few extras to help contain the power. Be prepared to smile soooo hard it hurts. Truthfully, I've never used it. I was steered to the blue from day one. Scan the label, check your dealer, or maybe someone will pipe in. There is also a comparable difference in power when you switch from the trail-port to the race-port. Especially when matched with the ATV8 pipe. Instant throttle response anywhere in the power-band.

I've been pre mixing the gold for over 3 years with no problems.Tore down the motor recently and they still had the cross hatch marks in the cylinder. And this is after 3 years of being pretty hard on it.

You don't have to by any means, but it is a good idea to at least slip the jug off maybe once a year. I normally always just yank it over the winter, just to take a peek. Have never found anything bad, just a preventative maint. thing.

thanks a lot folks, that weld on block re-inforcement plate sound a very good thing,i run the hardest motor mounts i've find and still not enough,
with some torque arm fitting around, you can have a lot more power to the ground simply cauze the motor is vibrate so bad...
i'll get my jug done by HPD,of course with the girdle kit.
that because i want the max of that race pipe, wich is so sweet....
hpd rule!
