Man I hadn't owned a full clutch bike in years and I've rode a raptor of my friends a few times but nothing to really practice enough on. I bought my z and after a few hours I felt like I had ridden it for years it was so second nature. They shift so smoothly you can't even feel it so sometimes I thought I hadn't even switched the gear. Get the z or kfx or the new artic cat 400 (it looks cooler than the z or kfx and it is the exact same quad except for the plastic) you won't be dissapointed , unless you happen to get a lemon then forget I gave you this advice. Just joking go out and buy one already. Peace and God bless.

I've had my KFX 400 for a month and love it, I love the power. I went from a clutchless 250EX to the 400 with no problems, like wa just said it shifts unbelievably smooth. Your adjustment should take no time at all, I got the KFX because the green is COOL...also it cost $4950 out the door. Good luck!

I played a dealer against a dealer for the price I wanted. In Hattesburg, Mississippi you can get one for $5199...thats their price...and I got a $250 military discount from Kawasaki. But they do retail for $5700....screw retail though....a dealer should be able to work to get you in the $5200 range! If not go elsewhere that wants your business.
