The only way to find out which is faster is to race him, your DS will most likely win over the long haul but don't be surprised if he gets the holeshot as long as he keeps the front end down enough. Be careful and have fun. Wear a helmet!!!

I had both of mine out today, the DS and the V. We did a little dragging and the V got the holes shot everytime. But I pulled it in right away and by 3rd gear I was already a quad length ahead. Didn't even hit 5th gear in the DS, because I was already ahead enough and didn't want to make my other quad look that slow. Both of the quads are stock, except for a K&N in the DS.

Hope this helps you out!!!

Change the primary spring in the V and you won't be reeling it in any time soon.

WOW, yours does 80
You must have WAY to tall gears to reach 80.. Hole shots must suck
I run 14/40 with 22 tires..
I also have the stuff below,, Mine does about 85-87 @ 9200 RPM..
If its stock motor it will do about 74, if you up the gearing it will MAYBEE go faster but more then likely run out of HP at around 72 mph @ less RPMS.

Whave have you done to your motor??

I was smoking 700 in the sand.. They simply cant get the high revs and a clutch dump... I can possibly see stock/stock. I have yet to race a modified 700. I am really excited for the first time

They are apples and oranges in my book....

Kevin I put in the yellow polaris spring yesterday it engages at 2800rpm with the stock weights but it seems to engage smoother then the EPI red but it pulls alot higher but on the road I was hitting the rev limiter but the acceleration was unbelievable I think what the v-force needs is a progressive spring or a dual rate like on shocks to get what we need.
