Default Explorer 400 how do I increase bottom end?

I have a Year 2000 Polaris Explorer 400. How do I get off the line quicker without loosing top end speed?
Something that would help climbing hills and sand hills etc. Thanks!

A clutch kit would most definately improve bottom end!

Is there different types of clutch kits? One for top end one for bottom end? Any brands to buy or not to buy?

they have aggressive clutch kits and utility clutch kits. Give rick ritter a call maybee he can custom build one. I modified my air box on my scrambler, made a noticeable differance in low end and throttle response. Just gotta watch your jetting.

Rick Ritter is the owner of RCR. You won't find a nicer or more knowledgeable person to work with

If you want more bottom end go with an Aaen Torquer pipe and the clutch kit they recommend for that pipe.I run that set up on my 400 sportsman and it is great.
