Default Repacking Ron Wood Pipe..What do I need?

Hey guys,

I'm getting in trouble with the police around here and I have already received a 144$ fine (cop said it was because i was closer than 7.5M from the road..but I really think it's because of how loud it is).

Anyway, my Wood complete pipe is obnoxiously loud and I'm pretty sure it needs to be repacked.

What kind of packing do I need (do I need a specific kind?!?!)?

I've never done this or seen this done before...so anything I need to know??

And how do I pull of the end cap of the Wood pipe, I know there are 3 bolts, I took them out but I was still unable to budge the endcap.

Thank You

Jeff

just have to work that end cap more. most shops sell packing it's pretty easy other than that make sure it gets all the way to the back. i don't know if it works or not but a friend of mine got a pipe end, that turned the exhaust to the ground, he said it is a loud better on the noise. i didn't hear it run so it might not work but i see the same thing on banshee pipes a lot.

Yea, my end cap points towards the ground. So I just work on the end cap, remove the guts, fill it up with some of the new stuff, make sure I put some everywhere, and slide it back in?

Sounds simple.

Thanks

I was talking about a 90 degree elbow so it actually hits the ground

You should repack the RWR at least once a year. The glasspack will actually produce less power and more noise when its old! Somthing to think about .....

The ron wood muffler comes with glasspacking, you need replacement packing.

Sorry, for the stupid questions, so I don't need to buy a specific packing for my muffler, just the same stuff you can use on all the other pipes?!? (FMF and Pro circuit pipes, etc.).

Thanks
