does black spring void warranty
#1
Just a question for those who have installed the black spring on there 650p. I got my 2003 650p in may and I love it. After about a month it started having some belt noise. I read in the forum that alot of you have installed the epi black spring. Does it really make that big of a differance. Also how does it effect the warranty on the atv. Thanks for your help.

It souldn't. Pretty much the only way I can think of voiding the warrenty is doing something in the engin. The only way it might is if your dealer is a real jerk. Didn't void my dads warrenty, he's running the black spring and the red spring.

Well, you can always put that yellow spring back on before taking it in? I think it depends on your dealer. They know the belts have problems and you're only extending the life of it. There should be detailed information in your warranty. It's scary reading, though, because you then wonder what the heck they do cover.
