2004 Eton Viper 50 Wheels & Tires
#1
I am looking to replace the stock rims and tires on my sons eton viper 50. He will probably
want to race in the future. So far I am finding that the best combo are as follows:
Rear: 18X10X8 Maxis Razor's on Douglas Wheels
Front: 19X6X10 ITP Holeshot's on Douglas Wheels
These are the smallest wheels I could find. Are these too big for his 50? What other options do I
have?

I would actualy recommend 16x6.5x8 snow hows... You can pick them up at Walmart or online for pretty cheap...
I went with
16x6.5x8 snow hogs in front and rear on a 8x6 douglas wheel with 2/4 offset ...
what I plan to do in the future is get him some 19x6x10 for the fronts...
If anything I would go with 18x6.5x8 snowhogs for the rear but I think that is still too much for the 50cc ... To much mass to turn..
I think that if you slap 18"s in the back it will be too much tire for the 50cc... My son is a 50cc and runs AWESOME with this tire combo..
It made a night and day diffrence in handling ...
Here are some pics of the bike with the wheels and tires that I have mentioned.

I agree, the snow hogs are the way to go. I'd stick w/the 16s on a 50 cc quad. Check out my pics at the left and you can see the treadpattern. Also, check out www.recreationtires.com for the best prices I could find on wheel and tire combos.

yeah the snow hogs are a great tire.I run a Kenda pathfinder on my sons rear.I need to get him a 2/4 off set like his Sis has for hers.this helped sooo much on tippiness.I dont plan on doing too much to the 50cc but have plans for the 90cc slowly adding more and more to it, and passing it odwn to my Son when she outgrows it. Its getting new shocks and rebuild this winter.Nice pics Brian... Tina
