Just get a good Kryptonite "New York" chain and locks. Chain his bike and yours together tightly so they can't be moved. (Chain the front of one to the side of the other). And sleep in peace!

Any of the mail order places will carry them. They are EXPENSIVE!! Over $100 for a long quad chain and lock!! Get the "Fahgettaboudit" one if you can!! I would recommend the 4' 3" Noose chain.

I chain my bikes in a big circle. Every bike is chained to 2 other bikes. Not going anywhere!!!

The person may have been trying to be friendly, but you never know. I use a Kryptonie chain and lock on my quad, as well as parking my Jeep against the grab bar, which has a alarm with a shock sensor, so if the quad moves, the Jeep alarm will go off. I also use motion lights around the garage, have a very big dog on duty, and if all else fails, my buddies Mossberg and Smith and Wesson have never failed me!!! Can you say...PARANOID!!!!

I would reccomend the lock, but also maybe the motion lights, only because I have heard of people being able to bust Kryptonite locks.

I recommend the dog. Best insurance you can get. You have to train them to only eat from you - but its worth it.

I have a rottwieler so there are no worries there and the guy well never saw him again but i think hes ok he is not trying to get it i hope.

I did buy the Kryptonite alarm though and have chains all over it now so its going to be a challenge to steal it and also tied it down i did some srilling on the floor screwd in some chain holders so its well stuck to the floor.I would also recommend wich i do everytime is take the tires off atleast the front.

And I think Yoshimura is right he just wanted to know me. But you can never be too safe.

Hey Yoshimura where do you ride?

I need to find good places to ride with some friends of mine.
