Banshee K&N Filter, Do You Have One?
#1
I have just purchased a K&N for my '02 (Part # YA-3502). Its the single filter. You cut the skelaton off the stock one and install the K&N.
I cannot make a clean install. I had to rig it. The clamp they gave me as well is too short.
Anyone else have any problems? Or more important, a solution?

You should have saved up some more $$$ and bought the pro-design billet fitler adapter. It bolts in to the air box so the filter can clamp on. No more worrying about the filter coming loose and your engine going on a dirt diet.

I have one of those pieces of crap on my banshee and it caused me to rebuild the engine by letting in too much dirt, chunk that thing and get a foam air filter like twin air, thats what i should do but i dont think of it all the time.

I agree with with the guys. I would suggest a pro design air filter adaptor that mounts solid to the factory air box since you already have the K&N Filter, also get a outer wear for the filter!
