Default Any news on a bigger grizzly?

I have a fully modified 650 vtwin and it is starting to get old so i am thinking i want a new quad. There is now a prairie 700 but from what i hear my modified 650 will be as fast as one of them and i am wondering if you guys have heard on a bigger grizzly. Like a 750 or 800. That would kick but. I think that yamaha has got all there kinks out of the grizzly 660 now. On the 2004's they have changed a fair bit of stuff to keep it running cooler and they put a different diff in the front. I think even stronger driveshafts. I hope they come out with a 800. If anyone heard anything let me no. Thanx.

Kraw , I sincerley hope you are refering to the 2004 grizzly cause the '02 was a piece of ---- and the 03 not much better. I had the misfortune of getting one of the first '02. Many problems as you are well aware. Even Yamaha was concerned and embarassed but never admitted serious design flaws. The worst on Yamahas part is that they did not support their dealers, for the most part. I still own the '02 but have since bought a Honda and a Suzuki and both are better than the yamaha from a design standpoint. I beleive the '04 is a step in the right direction. Also a lot of dealers, including mine, did everything possible to rectify problems with the earlier models but received very little support from Yamaha and for this they will surely pay. (hopefully)

I have never had a problem with my 02 (as far as heat, axle and sagging floor boards). And yes, I was referring to the 04. But in general, the suspension and engine are perfect IMO

Can't say that my 02 Grizzly has been any trouble either, and I got it July 10th 2001, so it had to be one out of the first batch. Sorry for the bad luck there dude.

The 700 sportsman will run with a Grizzly. Of course its not supposed to run with a Raptor. That was pointless to even say. 700 Sportsman is no slouch in the speed category. Imagine what any of those Sportsmans would do if they shaved 100 lbs. off of them also. They have pretty powerful motors in them all.
