carbs on raptor

Default carbs on raptor

If you have a stock raptor can you buy aftermarket carbs for it or do you have to bore it out first. I don't want to bore it but I want a pipe and then if I could put carbs on it.

You can put aftermarket carbs on a Raptor, Edlebrock and FCR are some of the more popular choices. Either will give you a better bottom end but the FCRs are also known for better top end. You're looking at roughly $500 for the Edelbrock and $800 for the FCRs. Installing the FCRs in a Raptor is not for the faint hearted, there isn't a lot of extra room in there:-)

do you think a carb with airbox modes will be better then a slip on with air box mods.

Put your money into exhaust and a good air filter with no lid, you'll be very pleased.
