was wondering if a 2004 yamaha blaster is any good? Considering I have a yamaha grizzly 660 I was thinking about getting into sport quads. Never had a problem with any of my yammies and I could get a 2004 blaster for basically 300 bucks since I am selling my FULLY rebuilt 94 bayou 300 4x4 for 3,000

I am 14,, 15 in auguest, 100 lbs. I am going to the dealer tomarrow.

 

For your size it would be great.But check a few other dealers for a leftover 03 a dealer here quoted us $2800 on a 03 and there isnt much differance in them.

 

Im a new rider. I was thinking since ive had some experience i might get into sport quads,
ive always trusted honda. Im thinking along the lines of a 250ex or a blaster i know that the blaster is alot faster, but will i be working on it all the time? is it to powerful for a 12 year old?

workin on it?BEEF? where you been? Blasters have been made longer than you have drawn breath and they sell every one, every year.
they improved the brakes last year. THIS should speak volumes to you. youre gonna love it's kinda half a banshee: when piped, those guys really go! And despite what anyone says, take it from an owner: they are a ball and no more maintenance than yer typical Honda.

I bought mine cuz of so many people endorsing them on the forums! that was almost 2 years ago. I love it. a great quad.

I'm not after a flame, I worked for HONDA for 14 YEARS. I have 2 quads they are both yamahas. personal preference.

Honda makes good products! just not the products i want. perhaps later. let's go do some riding!
