Need help so I can do it today!!!
I got the 2 water pump seals not the shaft.. they orderd the impeler.. so I will check it to make sure the are no scratches I can feel..

ANYWAYS, what the heck can I use for molykott 111? I went all over town and no has any idea.. what shoud I use??

 

I used a syntheitc grease with moly, available at most autoparts stores around me anyway. its not the exact grease recomended, but its been holding just fine for over a year.
I highly recomend replacing the shaft too, it will surely half rings worn into it where the seals ride, making the new seals fit "looser".
and tap that weep hole to install a tiny hose barb with 4" of clear tubing on it in a loop to prevent any grit from getting up in it in the future while you got it off.

 

oK, They gave me a wrong seal, 1 was correct and the other was for the shifter [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
I orderrd a new one and it will be in tuesday.
I used some 400 sandpaper and soothed out the shaft, I cant feel anything on the shaft.. I used a mic and was found that the shaft was uniform at .393 all the way down so I did not order one....

I used some castro one syn grease.. IT says its 100% water proof and heat resistent up to 450. I assume this will be ok??? It does not have moly. I could NOT find that stuff anyware..

 

dasandbomb has found those seals at napa, which is a autoparts place out here they were in stock.
