Just went out to Sams club and they just got in lots of the red atv lifts.it says it has a podered coated finish and 1500lb capacity. there $99 and work via a pedal and a hydralic cylinder. in northern tools catalog(p.124) they have the same thing for $179 plus shipping(witch would be a lot cause its 69lbs).
has anyone used this lift? is it a good price? i tought it would be great for all the sp500 owners cause u could jack your machine up on all fours and then take off all the wheels to lube it.

Why would you pay $99 for an atv lift....just buy a 2-ton jack for like $50 to $60 It would work the same right?

no its not the same as a floor jack. it has a lot larger area to lift the atv. it also has two locks wich make sure the jack doesent colapes. its has a much more stable base caause its a lot wider. lifting a atv by a floor jack wouldent be as stable cause its narower

well i used my friends floor jack for fixing my atv and it seemed fine....the one you have is probably best for bigger atv's, floor jacks are good for smaller quads like mine

ATV lifts will lift the whole quad, not just the front or back like a floor jack.

ledebuhr1,

That's a GREAT deal!! I bought the same lift out of the Northern Tool, but in my mag I got it for $149 and they shipped it free ( I love the free shipping)..but if it's $99 at Sam's, that's a heck of a deal on an excellent lift...I love mine (and so do all my ridin' buddies)
