next mod for blaster

if you dont have them get a boysen rad valve or fmf ram valve. i have run both and liked the gains. in order to run the 34mm carb and get alll the benefits you must port it. if you dont and just stick the 34 on there then you will lose 95% of whatever bottom end power you have. with the mods that you have you should be able to pull a 14 tooth front sprocket. handling wise if you trail ride works dual rate shocks are enough, if you want more though you can get tripple rate shocks and eigther of these with reservoirs, or you can get other brands of shocks lik pep and tcp, etc. putting on a 2 inch swinarm extension helps the handling a lot by makin it a longer wheelbase as do +2+1 in a-arms, these a-arms are 2 inches wider and spaced 1 in farther forward than stock ones.there is so much you can do to the blaster so if you want anymore info feel free to ask

i know of a couple people who are running the vitos performance piston kit. they all love them, i havent seen the dyno numbers on the kit yet but from a "seat of the pants" feeling it made the machines have more "punch" in them. Porting wise there are some really good companies out there who really know what they are doing to get hp out of the blasters. i have seen some dyno results with a blaster with the fmf pipe and the midrange porting alone get a whopping 34hp. i didnt believe it at first but after watching one of these blasters go and blow away a 250r i was amazed. now i know im gonna be told im full of crap for saying that by a lotta the other riders in here, but hey thats what i saw. on the blasters the mid range porting is what is most common it will provide you with a solid boost through out the power band. but if you ride in the dunes you may want to try a high rev port job. if you really wanted to get alot of speed from your quad then you can go with a big bore kit. there are several kit makers out there who make kits anywhere from 240cc-300. i dont reccommed goin over the 240 kit though due to the extere amount of heat that will be made if you do so. depending on the kit you get the cylinder bored out and ported with the head milled, pipe/silencer and carb and whatever else you may need, but some kits will only bore it out and port it so you may want to call the company and find out what they provide before you buy it. do you plan on racing your quad?
