im wondering what everyone is paying for their ds 650's....

what is msrp on the 03 ds650 baja
and on the 04 ds 650 and the 04 ds650 baja?

because i know i can get an 03 brand new baja for 5600, is that a good deal?

id like to know what everyone else is paying for their new ds 650's....

and how much more are those new ds 650baja X versions? (i figure if im gonna go all out on a new baja...i may as well get the X version...cuz i was gonna buy nerfs anyway...)

right now i have an 01 yamaha bear tracker (ya i know WOOOO) but ive ridden z400, raptor, ds 650 (only an 00 normal version, not the baja) warriors, blasters, 400 ex i think are all the sport quads ive ridden....

and i think i like the DS the best (im 6'2 225 lbs) and it seems the most comfortable....

anyone know what that would cost? (150-400?) since its only going a couple hundred miles i wouldnt think it would be over 200-250...

 

Roost, It would probably be cheaper to load up and drive to get it.

 

5600 is a good deal. I paid 6500 for my '03 Baja 3 months ago. I'd drive over to get it if I were you.

hmmm lets say shipping is 250.....

the dealership is 450 miles from me...

round trip were looking at 900

so.... with my dodge ram im getting around 13 miles to the gallon....so 900 divided by 13 is about

70 gallons of gas.... times the average price of fuel around here... say... 1.50

and that makes about 100 even in gas costs....

so were looking at a two day trip here (no way im driving that many hours in one day...lol)

plus my dad would have to go, cuz hes actually the one putting out the dough for this...

so plus say 75 for hotel.... PLUS he has to take a day off from work (unless we went on a sat)

so im looking at about 175 for driving...or 150-350 for shipping

maybe i should find out exactly what shipping is gonna be

cuz well im lazy and dont want to drive that far... heh

 

Dont forget, you get piece-of-mind when you go get the bike yourself. You never know what the dealership maybe sending you. Or if the delivery guy decides to take your bike for alittle spin.

 

Man, good deal...snag it up and drive it home...just kidding dont do that, pick it up or spend the 500-600 on shipping it

I agree 100% with you. You could be getting a quad with minor damages, that aren't important enough to send back...but still not appealing.

I say drive there or find one closer.
