They are building a highway at the back of the place where we ride, and the concrete is down but they got it closed off. Its about a 1 mile stretch, so my buddy brought his dads GPS and we did runs on all of our bikes, my top speed on the V was 75.4 mph. My buddys other bikes were all stock, a 00 banshee, 04 raptor, and a old 250r 3-wheeler. The banshee did 72.5, raptor did 75.6, and the crappy old honda did 58 mph. I was fairly happy of my speed, I was expecting 70-71. Not too bad for a big slug... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Do any drag races? What quad got to speed first?

 

We race all the time, that is there fav. thing to do.. The guy on the banshee is fairly new to riding, so he gets beat pretty bad, the guy on the raptor is a pretty good rider, and if we race about 150 yards I beat him by 2 bike lengths, if we both get good starts. In the sand with stock tires at a short drag we are dead even, and sometimes he beats me. If I race him on my buds banshee I can beat him by half a bike, but if I mess up on the start just a little, he will take me.
