2004 700 V-Force Question
#1
Does any one know what the travel is on the 2004 700 V-Force. I was lookin in a dirt wheels mag and noticed a racing KFX700 based on the new v-force, but it was shaft drive. I was wonder how much travel it has and how they get it from shaft drive.

Need to be carefull on the rear. If you have to much shock travel you will have the swingarm swinging to much. It will produce to much angle and you just might snap the CV or U-Joint on the drive shaft. Not sure what it is CV or U-Joint but they are not designed to be used on extreme angles. I hope Elka looked into this.

The Elkas were the best investment I've made so far. Lowered the V down to where it should have been in the first place and gave it a killer ride!!

i put some newshock mounts on my ATC250SX wicth is also shaft drive. It now has 8.1 inches travel in the rear. No cv probloms. But the exhaust valve broke off and logded in between the head and piston
