Default Raptor fan not coming on

My temp light came on today but the fan didnt.... Anyhow the fan tests fine but where is the sensor that controls the fan? I wired a switch up to run the fan whenever I need to but I'd like to fix the sensor that controls it as well. Anybody know where it is?

there is lots of troubleshooting info in the back of the shopmanual that can be downloaded.

I believe the sensor you are looking for is at the bottom of the radiator, it has 2 wires. You can test it my measuring the resistance across it at normal temperature then boil it in water up to like 200 degrees and measure the resistance again. The manual will tell you what the readings should be. It could also be your thermostat, if its stuck shut the water wont get to the sensor to heat it up enough.

I squirted some water from my hydrastorm on the radiator when it overheated and it did transfer alot of heat so I suspect it's the sensor but where is the thermostat located, I'll replace it too while I'm at it.

The thermostat is up by the steering stem and fuel tank, right side. Follow the rad hose out of the top of the tank and you will find it. Yeah if the radiator was hot when you did that it is probably the sensor or a wire leading to it or the fan.
