I think they should update the blaster, so here are my thoughts..

raptor length, 45" wide, liquid cooled, manual clutch, 7-speed, dual rate gas shocks with 12" travel, kick-start.

it can be a **NEW** yamaha 250r copy cat!

and thats right, .. 7-speed!

wouldnt that be cool? i always find myself trying to shift up when in top gear. maybe 8 gears is necessary? that would fly.

I agree with ZBlaster...YEEEEHAWWWW!!!! It should also have a Lonestar-style swingarm and radial tires. Of course, now we're talkin' five figure$ but I guarantee they'd sell every one they made!

i think they should update the banshee, the warrior, and the blaster. I like what they've done with the new blaster headlight, but that quad needs to be wider and a little longer. The Warrior should have a displacement of 400 instead of the 350. It could also use a minor facelift. the engine should be based more on a WR engine(remembering its not a high-performance quad, but liquid cooled would be nice). The Banshee, stock, still impresses me. the engineers behind it were obviously innovative. It could also use a facelift, but i think Yamaha should offer the old bodystyle as well. I still think its sweet! Another thing they should do with the banshees is offer packages. Similar to Alba racing only from the factory.
Oh, and the Warrior and Blaster's stock tires, need to be repalced with something that with suit both quad all-around uses.

I personally don't think they've left any ground uncovered already but if you're picky maybe they could make a smaller trail quad than the raptor that has ex or z handling. I guess it could go hand and hand with a warrior update just put a 400cc engine in a yfz'ish frame add reverse and a cool plastic design and you've got an instant competitor for the z and ex. Also price it at around $5200 and when yamaha goes on one of it's sales promotions you could get rebates that put it at around $4800. This would be nice but really if anyone has all their bases covered already it's gotta be yamaha. I think suzuki and definitly honda need to be the ones making a new quad.

the raptor's should have any kind of good aftermarket pipe to make them the beast they should be from the factory.
