putting brakes on 300EX

Need help im putting brakes on the rear of my EX but the piston in the caliper want go all the way in what can i do to get it all the way in. Could i take it apart and get it in like its suppose to be?

Sometimes I have to use a c-clamp to push the caliper back in.Any more than that and you have a serious problem that your dealer should probably fix.I wouldn't recommend taking it apart.

If it is the rear caliper the emergency brake could be stopping the pistion from sliding all the way back. I also use a clamp to push the pistion back in place.

Yes back out the Emergency Brake bolt then use a C-Clamp to push it in. I had the same problem.

lol I had the same problem! I thought it was the parking brake so I took it off then I think I used a big screwdriver and pryed the piston down. when I got the pads on it rubbed the rotor a little until it wore a little. later

Thanks for everyones advice i did back the emergency brake bolt out and it work perfect.
