Default yfz mods

I live in Oregon And have had my yfz for about 2 weeks now. Its broken in pretty good now and want to do a few mods. I have the baffle out and am running a 168 main jet. I would like a little more power does anyone know if i should change the pilot or needle pos, it runs good on the mid and top but a slight hesitation when you blip the throttle. I was wanting to know if anyone in Oregon has one and what they are running. I was told by a local dealer that the cam mod would not do anything he said you would need a yzf cam and ge didnt know if it would fit. I ride mostly on the coast in Florence, or boxcar. Anyway any advice would be great. THANKS

I am running a 165 main with the jet kit needle on clip ring 3 the only thing that I don't like is the deacceleration spudder.
For getting more power Alba Action has the 13.1 pistion for $179.00. I am not sure if I want to go that way or not.

Have you removed the airbox lid? You might have to jet a little richer. i'm at sea level and with the baffle and a/b lid off i am running a 165 main and #6 postion on needle. you have to grind off a little of the top of the needle to get it back in. there should be a lot of pipes coming out shortly.

The cam mod works great, I have torn mine down tonight because I am having my head ported and I got a 13:1 piston to put in. Put on a good pipe and the thing will scream.

Hey iluv2fly let us know how it runs after the mods.

It's sounds like alot of people are ajusting the cam. It is the same here the dealer says they have never heard of it. I would like to get it done. I just don't trust myself in ripping it apart.
