would a 80 raptor goes as fast as a honda 90 since it a 2 stroke and a predator 90 or would it get blown away by the Predator 90 and Honda 90?

The Raptor 80 and Honda 90 which are both 4 strokes are very close in performance. Before I got my kids the Honda I looked at all the 80-90cc atv's out there. I was at my dealer (whom I know quite well) and we took the Raptor 80 and TRX 90 out back and drag raced them. With the air box restrictors removed and throttle limiters backed off they where pretty much even until about 30mph. Thats where the 80 stopped and the Honda went to 33mph. Thats was with my 80 lb 10yr old on the Honda and owners slightly smaller 10yr old nephew on the Yamaha. Those speeds where on flat ground and clocked on a GPS that was mounted on a Rancher riding beside them. I looked at the Polaris (Sportsman 90)and just didn't like how cheap it seemed. It was a little peppier than the Honda and Yamaha but top speed was a little less. The Polaris by the way was not made by Polaris it's acually made by a Korean company called AEON. That's what I was told by the dealer. That was also 2 yrs ago. A friend of mine works at another dealer that sells E-Ton and told me they have a new 90 2 stroke out that is really supposed to fly. I want to take the Honda over there and see how it does. From what I saw out of all the different kids quads out there the Honda 90 and the Suzuki LT 80 where the best 2 out there. Lots of aftermarkets hop ups are avaliable for each of them as well. Plus those 2 seem to hold their value better. Hope this helps.

My son has an '03 Polaris SP90 ...This thing will weelie and take me 30+mph .. I weigh 220 lbs .... just my opinon, I cant see a four stroke keeping up with an equal (displacement) 2-stroke ... Low-end is great too .. No modifications....
