A friend who works at a Polaris dealership said a polaris rep told him that a Mag 500 will out run a Grizzley and that it has the same horsepower. That is what they are telling customers. Is this true?? It may be... I don't know.

 

Well, my grizzly will outrun my sp500 and I have raced a magnum 500 and passed it with no problem.So considering that your info came from a polaris dealer,I'd have to say that the dealer is full of ****.The whole subject of outrunning each other is fairly lame anyway,when you consider that 99% of your ridding won't even be done at full throttle anyway.

 

They said it would outrun the sportsman due to the weight advantage. That's pretty much what I thought to. It is over-rated but it will always come up.

 

dont listen to the dealer,he is to bias listen to your friends or the fourum members someone who isnt trying to sell somthing. I just got a griz and love it,i cant belive the power and Icant get it stuck knock on wood.
