2001 yamaha line
#1
I am new here but have learned alot reading these posts. I came here because I want a grizzly and after reading the posts about them now i know that its the 4 wheeler for me. But i would like to know when the info on the 2001 models is going to be releasted does anyone know of any major changes for next year like liquid cooling or rear wheel disc brakes? I know the kodiak has all that now but i need the extra power for farming. Any info would be helpful thanks.

I would suspect that their flagship model will not be eclipsed by one of their mid-sized sport-utes. I am confident that the new Grizz will also get a new engine and whatever upgrades that the new Kodiak recieved. At LEAST all those things. Who knows, maybe also a new frame, suspension, etc. It is their flagship quad, so they might go all out on a redesign.
I sure hope that they took the time to update some other machines while they were at it. Particularily the Banshee... I know that this new sport quad of theirs is going to rock, but hopefully the other machines aren't left totally on the sidelines.

I have a feeling that yamaha knows exactly what there doing, they have waited for the competitors to show what they have, now its there turn, and believe me there not going to let honda do what they did with the 250r with the 400ex, and with the only update for 2001 on the 400ex is yellow plastic, yamaha has placed themselves stratigically in position to assume they reign as king of the sport quads.
