It revs quick and with lots of torque. HPD has them in stock.

I have the wiseco right now. But I plan on changing it out to a Vertex as I was told by the mechanic at my local cycle center that the wiseco being a forged piston will expand and shrink when run real hard. The Vertex is a cast piston and will hold up longer from what I've heard. I kissed the extended warranty bye bye when I did that

John, it's your choice but if your going with a high compression piston use a forged one. The cast are fine for stock motors but are not as strong and tend to be heavier than the forged units.

Is the Wiseco high compresion producing a noticable boost in torque and quicker revs due to its light weight?

Combination of the lightweight, and the higher compression. It's pretty darn quick.

Even with the standard bore high comression piston, HPD still recommends their cams which are not on their site yet! Can you run the piston and have a noticable difference enve without the cams?

Yup. It's definitely noticeable. Very quick revs.
