The best way to find pics of older quads is go to Cycletrader and search for whatever it is you want to see. Unless it's extremely rare, someone will have one for sale with a pic.

My Trailboss use to look like the do now but I cut the plastic, painted some things.. The motor has had the basic, Milled head, Ported cylinder, Wiseco piston, 34mm Mikuni, UNI clamp-on, HPD pipe w/ MTQ silencer, Clutch kit. The thing runs really good and flies with the 32tooth rear sprocket, it's really impressive comparing it to how it ran in stock form.
