Is it true that the position of the holes in the airbox affects the performance like stronger low end torque and less top end power or faster top speed with less low end pull?

Yes and no. How you drill them (by pattern or design) will affect how much air will flow in or not flow in due to turbulence. Look for a picture of the airbox lid you can buy for a Warrior. I think it is in the Chaparral catalog. Anyway, they have 2 rectangular holes on the right side of the airbox, note they are not in the center or the left side. I had a Warrior and I remember that they were on the opposite side of the airfilter in the box. In Blastercentral.com, they mention that when they put holes in the middle of the lid, it decreased performance. I am no expert, but it obviously has to do with how the air flows in more than how many holes are there.
