Default i'm tired of the bs i'm going with nitrous...

ok i cant get anyone to reply much on which engine builder to go with so i'm going to purchase nitous.. thinking about boondockers, or nitrous express.. i've had nos before on a mustang (250 shot) so i'm not scared of it but would you put it on a stock motor?? thinking of a 15-20 shot.. i've read of alot of ppl in the yamaha and other forums putting it on stock motors.. and later i'll get a cam and another piston, but i want to run it on my stock motor first...

what's your input??

Well, the only engine builder for the 500 HO motor that I know of is Mickey Dunlap at 4ST. You can give HPD or Hot Seat a call and see if they have anything, but I dont know. Aaen does have cams and high compression pistons. I just don't know if the stock motor on the scram can take NOS. Keep in mind, there is a BIG difference between a stock Raptor motor and a stock 500HO motor. I just don't know if the piston and crank can take it.

NOS- Bringing natural selection to a glorious climax for years now.

Nitrous on a mustang and nitros on a small motor are two different beasts. Be careful. THere is no firewall, motor straps or windsheild protecting you for sharnel. Better to run it safe and strong.

boodockers uses dry nitrous airbox mixing, so it's a softer punch. $700 and 2 hours labor then you're ready to go.

what the hell are you talkin about aaen doesn't sell high compression pistons? i bored my trail boss .020 over with aaen. they are located about 20 miles from my house. i ripped my engine apart, gave aaen my head and they port and polished it for 60, shaved it for 55, and gave me a .020 over pison for 100. don't say stuff that ain't true. aaen makes strong pistons and they sound awesome with their 219 dollar pipe. and the pipe is meant to be used with their clutch kit. so basically you have made a speed machine. now my trail boss 330 is a 350, hit 68, and smokes most 2 stroke 300-400s. i can beat scrambler 500s too. i smoked my friends 97 and he even had an epi clutch. so i would go with aaen then nos and you are on you way to the hospital.

2turbo300zx I think you are the one that needs to stop saying stuff that isn't true. You bike is not a 350 if it is bored .020 over. boring a bike .020 over does not mean that you gain 20 cc's the correct equation for your bike displacement is 329 x .020 = 6.58 increase your bike is actually a 335.58. there is also no way you could hit 68 without extensive clutching and gearing changes that you do not mention you have.

Let him give it a shot........(get the pun?) Then we can see how it goes before we try the ssame thing. My best friend sells nitrous, so it IS cheap HP......But, can the motor take it????? WE'll let him tell us after he does it, eh???
