Scrambler 500 jetting?

Has anyone ever removed the air box cover on a 97 Scrambler 500.If so what main jet did rou use?
With sotck jetting it wont even rev up.

i haven't but i know that the stock air box is very restrictive it will probably take a much bigger main. I'ts not uncommon for a bike too jump up 30 on the main from just removing the lid
