we just bought a eton viper 90 2 days ago and the green wire is not a plug in. it's on the backside of the cdi under the mounting rubber . it will open it up when you clip it. hope this helps you out

You will need to locate the CDI and remove the rubber sleeve around it. Once you the rubber
sleeve you will see the green wire loop on the back side of the CDI. On the 2004 the CDI is
located on the left side of the bike (if your sitting on it) just inside the body where the steering
column goes in from the handle bars. You can reach you hand down in there and feel it. You can
even pull it up and look at it without taking anything apart. It is a black box about 2"x3"x1".

Once again thanx, I found the green wire hidden as you said, seems to make quite an improvement in top end.

If it has the green wire, then, yes it would apply. Just akes a few seconds to look for the green wire.
