Little Sahara,OK SANDFEST!!!
#1
OK, how many are showing up in Little Sahara middle of Sept for the 2nd annual Sandfest? Myself and Dana are going to be there and I will have every bike except our daughter's LT80. Come out and join in the fun. You dont have to race the drags, but the weather last year was killer and we did have a blast. You can come see if Dana's R can hang with the Banshee or not LOL. We'll be there Wednesday night late on the 10th and be leaving out on the 14th. Look for the R,Banshee (there's not many of those bikes) and our 2 polaris trail bikes. We're there to have lots of clean fun and would like for some forum members to hang out. Bubba

bubba297 me & my brother might be making it (Sandfest). Our buddy from Houston, Tx. is going to make with his 2 drag banshees & Big Nasty as he calls it, a red scrammy with a polaris 800cc snowmobile motor. He should also have some others with him (drag bikes). We're going to try to make it from Dallas. Are you going to make it to Rabbit Creek drags 8/17 sunday?
Later!

We just got back from Little Sahara. It was our first out there and we had a great time. It is a very relaxed environment. We are not used to being able to ride with such freedom. The night time was really great. Even saw a few bats flying around.

Myself and zilladragster will be there with a few other people. They are going up a week early to get a good spot.I'll be on a all black 400 with the full treatment of goodies .One of the others going with us has a drag shee with a custom built lightweight frame(only 220lbs with a full tank of alcohol). We got hotel reservations way in advance. We tried the whole camping thing and it costs more to do that than get a room and eat as you go.We wasted money on food we didn't eat.Hope to see you up there. As it gets closer we'll have to figure out how to spot one another so we can kick back and bs or even ride.

I was hoping to make it up there, but alas, I will probably be working instead.
The way we used to spot each other when I would go to Walden sand dunes was to tie a bright orange ribbon around the grab bar or top the flag pole, it worked pretty good.
